Burt’s Bees festival survival kit competition. September 2009

1) By entering the ‘BB festival kit competition’ participants agree to abide by all terms and conditions of the competition.
2) Participants will be required to answer the question and provide the following information: full name, address, date of birth, email address, & telephone number. This information will be used by us to administer the competition. We may also use it to tell you about our products and offers, and for market research including analysis and development of our products and customer relationships. We will not share it with other organizations for marketing. If you do not want Burt’s Bees (UK) Limited to use your information in this way, please indicate this by ticking the relevant box on the entry form.
3) The competition will be open to UK residents aged 16 years or over. Employees and their immediate families of Burt’s Bees (UK) Limited and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion are excluded from entry.
4) No purchase is necessary to enter competition.
5) One (1) entry per person, to be submitted in the competition entry box provided in the Burt’s Bees tent at the event. Entries must be on official entry forms, complete, unaltered and legible. No photocopies shall be accepted.
6) Entries must be received no later than 13th September 2009. The winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision. Twenty-five (25) winners will be selected; all with equal prize value.
7) Prize is made up of one (1) Burt’s Bees bespoke festival survival kit (silver 25th anniversary tin, Hand Salve 85g, Outdoor All-in-One wash 118ml, Res-Q ointment 8.5g, Aloe & Buttermilk Body Lotion 29.5ml, Peppermint Foot Lotion 14ml, Therapeutic Bath Crystals packette, lip balm 4.25g, and holder); and one (1) year’s subscription to “Ethical Living” magazine, which comprises six (6) bi-monthly issues and will start from Sept/Oct issue.
8) The Promoters’ decision is final and binding on all the entrants, the running of the promotion and the winners. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners.
9) There is no cash or other alternative to the stated prize.
10) The Promoters have the right to change, alter or withdraw the competition at any time if circumstances make this necessary.
11) The winners will be notified by telephone or email no later than 12th October 2009. In the event winners do not communicate their acceptance by email or telephone within 14 days to the Promoters’ notice that they are the winner, the Promoters reserve the right to pick another winner and the person not responding will waive their rights to a prize.
12) Names and counties of winners are available upon request
13) If any of these terms and conditions are found by a competent court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable, that term or condition shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
14) These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction on the courts of England
15) Winners may be required to participate in related publicity.
