Rated 2 out of 5 by from Red Splotchy Burning I’ve tried this product three separate times with weeks in between to see if the issue was actually the product- and it looks like it is. I’m not sure what my skin is reacting to but it’s like a painful burning sunburn in splotches all over my face except my forehead for some reason. Be cautious if you have sensitive skin I guess. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Instant red face I wanted to love this product but as soon as I wiped it on my face my face turned bright red and hot to the touch! Never had a reaction to a product like this before. Very disappointed

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smells like wet dog I don’t know how this passed inspection or who thought dirty wet dog was a great smell but I can’t get over it and will be returning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Makes my skin red and sensitive Unfortunately, the product irritates my skin. It burns very hard and I get red spots and very sensitive skin. I bought the product only 2 days ago, unfortunately, I can not use it anymore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing product I had been using another brand of micellar water but wanted to switch to something cruelty-free. I've had good experiences with other Burt's Bees skincare products, so I thought I'd try this. It did not live up to my expectations. The smell is SO BAD. I thought I'd get used to it after a few days, but it smells like rank wet dog. It also left my face feeling a bit tight and dry afterwards, but that didn't bother me as much as the smell. Other products I use from Burt's Bees have been relatively fragrance-free, so the fact that this one smells so strongly and so badly was surprising and disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It burns! I wanted a non oily cleanser and love Burt’s Bees products so this seemed perfect. Unfortunately it burns so I have stopped using it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Red Rash Like other 1 star reviews, I also developed a nasty rash on my face. Unfortunately, mine did not clear up right away & I was left with patches of red, flaking skin on my forehead and cheeks for almost a week! I went back to the bottle thinking I missed something and I was surprised to find no warnings about possible irritation. I have used Micellar water before, so there must be something else in the product that caused this. Very disappointed b/c I usually love BB.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Red hot face! I use Burt’s Bees products for all my skincare and love everything I use. However, after using this micellar water, my face got super red and splotchy and hot to the touch! Super bizarre! Not a product for everyone.
